Create a Custom Heirloom Piece with Jaxie!

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue....

These are 4 items a bride thinks about when preparing for her big day. Before my grandmother, Ann, passed away, she said to me she had costume jewelery she wanted to pass down to me. I was extremely touched and cherish the items she gave to me. Many of my brides have had similar situations... heirloom jewelry from their family they want to find a use for.

I love when brides come to me and say they have a piece they want to re-purpose, I can sit down with my brides and design a look that compliments their style. Old brooches, earrings, necklaces and even rosaries have been inspiration for some of my Jaxie heirloom pieces. Check out a few of my fabulous collaborations:

I have also created pieces from trimmings from a bride's wedding dress, this way you can have a piece of your big day added to the heirloom piece:

If you are interested in creating a piece that you can pass on for generations to come, contact me! I look forward to sitting down with you and creating a meaningful piece you'll adore.

Featured Wedding: Megan + David

Photography By: Bellow Blue

Megan was so fun to work with, she came to me and said her inspiration was Carrie Bradshaw's bird hairpiece from the Sex and the City Movie:

Although Megan LOVED the dramatics of the piece, she wanted to dial it down a bit. She had a cluster of birds she wanted me to incorporate along with lace and netting, this piece definitely made a statement. I also coordinated colors from her flowers for her bridesmaids with a touch of bling.

"Thank you again for creating wonderful pieces for my wedding that fit the theme" - Megan
